Here's the part two, I hope you would enjoy reading! PART TWO - DISCOVERY I loved the calm environment around me as I opened one of many story books I had piled up in front of me. I was not feeling too much sleepy and I couldn’t stop myself from starting with anyone of them. Books I had with me, consisted of short stories. I started reading stories from one of the books and complete within half-an-hour. When I was flipping through pages, something fell down from the book. It was an old envelope. I opened it and saw there were some pages with something written on it. It was handwritten. Looking at the pages, I couldn’t predict anything so I started reading it: I don’t know why I feel like writing today or maybe my mental health is disturbing me too much. Today was my 65 th birthday, and I should be the happiest man on this planet. I have a nice family with my partner still alive with me. One would die to live my life but I am dying every day I’m living. I don’t ...

* Before you start reading this story, I'd like to tell you that this is only the first part of the story. It is a medium size story that's why, I have written this story in three parts. I will be uploading remaining two parts in the span of next 7 to 8 days.  I hope you enjoy reading!  PART ONE - ARRIVAL Year - 2007 After a tiresome journey, we were about to reach the place I hated the most. When we came here last time, I was a small kid. I don’t have any memory of that time and I am not interested to take any such pain to remember it. I only know that I can’t create any memory here. I have to just adjust for few days before we head back. I plonked my bag on the platform and read the name of the platform in my mind – Firozpur (my native place). Our relatives or people only known-to-my-parents came to received us at the railway station. When we came out of the station, I instantly liked the place. It was not that bad what I thought of! I expecte...

Some funny problems!

"Fun is in living; not in dying" * One fine afternoon, I was walking on the road cursing the heat which was spoiling my skin. I saw a women who was acting very weirdly. I stood there, confused. Firstly, she moved slowly towards her left. Then to her right. She tried to walk backwards. I saw her with full attention. Afterward, she slowly removed her purse from her plastic bag. She opened it and intentional let a coin fall on the footpath. My mind declared she was mad. She slowly bend down to pick up the coin. There was also a hundred rupee note lying just next to that coin, she took the hundred rupee note (not the coin) and acted like it was hers. I almost thought, what that one rupee coin would think- I have no respect. * I hate parties. But, when your family insists you to come along, you really don't have a choice. I and my family reached the hall where the party was to be held. I was bored already. It was my father's office party. What will I do here...

Miracles!

Image
Do you believe in miracles? Have you ever experienced one? I have heard miracles do happen. I have seen people recovering from the last stage of a very deadly disease, when doctor had already said, “Only god can save her, now”. I have also experienced one but I’m not going to reveal it here. So, let’s keep this all behind and focus on these questions which encountered my mind: Why miracles happen? Why do miracles happen to some people only and why not to all the people on this earth? Who is given the credit for miracles?   Well, I was confused at first and started to search about miracles on various online website, I read stories narrated by people, and almost spent a day searching about it but found nothing. I did not find answers to my questions. If god implements miracles why he leaves behind some people and only cares about some? How can god be so unfair and partial? I always read and get answers to questions which develop in my mind but this time, I did not get a...
