Laughing At Yourself is More Important Than Laughing At Others!
I have seen people getting angry at them, feeling guilty about mistakes they did but what I haven’t seen yet is – people never laugh at themselves.
It has ever happened that – a classmate of yours has asked a foolish question to your professor and it is followed by a string of laughter. Have you ever
felt laughing at others is very easy but being a laughing stock is
hard? The feeling of being a fun element is hard to swallow but laughing
at something or someone is never tough.
Everyone’s Target
Making fun of others and taunting them again and again about where they went wrong, and how foolish they’re won’t help you in life. What really helps in life is observing your mistakes and working on it. The example of laughter I gave in the first paragraph can also influence a person in a negative way. It or she may develop fear of becoming a figure of fun and would never any question ever in front of people. Yes, it is also a kind of indirect bullying. Well, laughing at others is easy but understanding their dilemma is very tough. This was only the first part.
Yourself – a funny figure
You know what laughing at yourself is very important. Actually, if you won’t laugh at your own mistakes (secretly or openly, that depends on you), you have a hard life to face, ahead. Observing your behaviour will make you realize where you went wrong but laughing at yourself will make you happy and careless. Careless, in sense, you won’t bother about people, anymore. You’ll feel careless and it would help you develop in life.
Laugh on your mistakes, your things and your life. No one is perfect. Everybody make mistakes, everybody has a weaker side and everybody is a learner in this world. So, to learn new things you need to accept that you don’t know some things. You’re weak in it and if while learning that thing, you ask some foolish questions to your mentor which results into a series of laughter don’t get afraid. It won’t stay for a long time. It’ll pass on like most of the things in this world.
If someone laughs at you, don’t feel dejected. Laugh with them on the mistake you committed. You may feel laughing at yourself, isn’t easy? Yes, it is never easy to accept your own mistakes but you should. It would help you in life and you won’t feel bad if someone laughs on you instead, you’ll love it. So, you should make fun of yourself, it will make you feel composed.
Peace out.
