What India Gave Us?
SHOCKED!!!
What India gave us? Really! For me,
this question means nothing. You may be thinking why am I writing this? Why I
have to write this? Who am I to write it? In simple words—I am responsible
citizen of India and I’m totally fair while writing this article.
You
must be wondering—who asked me this question? Well, a teacher asked me this
question. I was like, aw! Are you ready, to read what India gave me or us? (Any
reader other than Indian will feel insulted or drawn back, but I apologise
initially.) All disclaimers are finished. Now it starts...
I am standing straight with all my
classmates. We’re all in attention. A serious attention, I say. I could hear
something like this—
Jana
gana mana idhinayaka jaye he
Bharat
bhagya vidhata....
I don’t know what is it. I am a small kid. A tiny thing on this planet called earth. I am every student who is studying in whatever grade. I only know this our national anthem. I like its tune and rhyme. I don’t know the meaning of these words. I can understand meaning of some words but, still I feel I can’t understand the anthem. Well, it’s okay. I wrote this to make you realize—this is where it begins...
India is a country who has a population of billions. Here, people are culture oriented. Here, every person is money oriented. Indian society is classified into three different section—1) High class, 2) Middle class and 3) Lower class. If I start explaining the meaning of these classes it will need ample of time. This will bore you! But, I’m not writing this to bore you. In India, there are different religions and uncountable number of gods. Gods are here in infinite numbers! Related to gods, there are different temples, churches and many worship points. In India, people are not so united but, unity still exists. India is a wonderful place—with lots of tourist destination (including one of the seven wonders of world). Indian cuisine is famous worldwide. Most of it, India is a developing country. It’s not an undeveloped country. Indian economy is 10th in the world.
That’s all. Article is done.
Wait! Still it’s not.
Whatever India maybe like—corrupted, populated, polluted, bad caste system, poor government, etc. I am forgetting something. By the way, it’s my India. It’s my country. Logically, in other nations, I’m known as an Indian. It’s my identity. India—a country—gave me identity. India is not easy. India provides food to billions of people. India gives people—a substance to survive. If I say a bitter reality, then it would hurt Indians who’re reading this article. The truth is—the nation who gives food to people to survive is dying.
Do you want to know who is killing India?
Indian citizens are killing India. Indians are losing faith in their own country. They are forgetting the fact they live in a country which fought for its independence. Leaving your own country for your own benefit is childishness. Building your own country for everyone’s benefit is maturity.
Then what India gave me or us?
India gave me respect. India gave me my own identity. India gives me basic necessities of life. Whatever conditions my India maybe in I will never leave it. I may die with India, for India and in India but, I won't leave it alone.
There are many aspects I did not discuss. I only wanted to make you understand what India gave me or us? India is better than every nation (in my imagination). For every Indian, India is like their father and (make a note) nobody kills his or her own father!!
In India, it’s worth living in any condition! It’s my hope!
“The best way to escape your problems is to face them. Running away doesn’t provide solution.”
India needs help and lots of love from you!
Always be proud to be an Indian.
Please, don't leave India!
