Let's celebrate diwali
So, it's Diwali time, it's a new beginning too, and it's also the noisiest festival. People in India try to celebrate this festival in the best way. Diwali is celebrated by bursting crackers and creating noise pollution and air pollution. So, it's people's choice whether they want to create nonsense! I don't know why people burst crackers when it's a new year next day. Whenever I try to stop people from doing this, people do call my argument pointless.
So, now, I don't really tell them to stop this nonsense. Instead of it, I thought of writing this article.
There are many other ways to celebrate Diwali. You can celebrate it in an eco-friendly way! Or in a different way or a helpful way. People can help poor children who don't have clothes to wear. Buying lakhs of crackers will never give you such kind of happiness, helping does.
People can form a group and create awareness regarding how bursting crackers can adversely affect our health and environment.
People can donate money in old age homes and make their Diwali memorable.
People can clean their surrounding after next day of Lakshmi Pooja. (Why blame BMC after burning coal?)
There are many other ways too but I don't wanna discuss it here. I want you all to find your own way of celebrating Diwali.
Let's celebrate Diwali in a different way this time. Change is necessary sometimes...
Happy Diwali in advance,
Amay Saxena
