Speaking about Blue Whale (game)! (The Killer Game)

Let me first introduce you to the game if you're not aware about it. Blue Whale (game) is an internet game that consists of series of tasks assigned to players by administrators during a 50-days period, with a final challenge instructing the players to commit suicide. If a player tries to leave the game incomplete without (dying), the curators (the one who assigns the tasks to a particular player) threatens to kill him or her.
So, this is Blue Whale (game) which has created a lot of hype in India and players have actually taken their own lives.
I still remember it was evening time, I was checking news feeds and suddenly name of this game flashed on my mobile screen. After reading the entire report by Times of India, I was shocked just like many others. It was hard to swallow the fact: that a teenager jumped from a tall building just to complete the last task of the game (last task is to kill yourself). He also went online for few minutes before jumping off the building. The entire thing started to get media coverage, social media was full of feeds related to Blue Whale (game), various websites started revealing the series of task of the Blue Whale (game), many renamed the game as a killer game, suicidal game, etc. and what-not! Few days later, one more player was found dead with the drawing of whale craved on his hand. Things went on to get nastier and victims increased within no time.
News channels did a good job by informing people about the reality of this killer game, and playing this game would only lead to death. But my question to a person of a sound mind is - Are you not worried about your life? A life, is more precious than anything in this world and people are constantly trying save lives. Then why people are not realizing the importance of a "life"? That also a human life, the most developed creation present on the planet. Well, I have some logic to this blind nature of people who're not worried about anything, not even their own life.
If you want to know something is indepth, then you need to go through it and get yourself educated. I started to think about playing Blue Whale (game) and got into that mindset. I thought about playing the game, reading the first task and thinking about performing the first task. It was easy compared to other tasks mentioned in the list. I wasn't actually playing the game but I was into that mindset assuming as if I was a player who was playing the Blue Whale (game). I also assumed that a curator is also being appointed for me and he is guiding me throughout my journey in the game. But what struck me was - if players who are playing the game, are they aware of the last task? Did they already know that the last task is to give their life?
Frankly speaking, when I thought about playing this game, I was aware of the last task but in middle of it, I got confused and the tasks also made me feel dejected. The sense of intelligence in me was suddenly missing and I was left with only tasks and more tasks around me. Even if I enjoyed those missions given by my curator, I would never die. I would never be able to give my life for a stupid internet game which gave me nothing in return. I certainly understood the problem behind the suicides. The game captures the mind of a person by making them do things which are going to make them weak, and less intelligent. No matter how brave you're but watching horror movies during night time with no one around you but only silence will land you up in negative place.
The game is deeply disturbing so the only way to save yourself is not to play it. Even if you're stuck in this mud, quit it right now and inform the police officials, immediately. Don't be afraid, the threats are not true and no one is going to come and kill you. It is a Russian game and some of the administrators of this killer game are caught by the Russian law enforcement teams.
About the suicides, I don't think the players already knew about the last task (killing yourself) otherwise they would have never played it. They last task was not disclosed to them or they were fooled by the curators and later threatened. Ultimately, they killed themselves.
This is it. You may enter Blue Whale Challenge by mistake or someone may lure you into it but it depends on you whether you want to play it or not. You may enjoy the game due to some personal reasons but it is still harmful to play such a game.
So, before ending this article, I want to ask you a question - what matters to you more? A stupid game or your life with your loved ones?

Thank-you for reading!

Amay Saxena!
